I Wonder Who’s Truckin Her Now.

The first song I ever wrote was probably inspired by C.W. McCalls’ Convoy. Right around 1980 I reckon and the Urban Cowboy was about to burst on the scene kickin shit everywhere and what not. Turns out I was a poet and did not know it. Good thing I only squeeze one of these out every couple years.

I wrote the song on paper all at once and I did not write the music. Jay would write the music when Bruce and I got to Vegas. We were workin on the road splicing telephone cable. We lit out for Las Vegas when the work ran out and now it’s all this.
