I performed with Jay a few times at our church. It's sad he'd pass on from a medication reaction when he was in college to be a drug counselor. He was a gifted guitarist. He'd come over to our house and we'd sit and sing old duets like from the 60's. I wrote a song for him and put a demo up at http://azimuthmusic.com/mp3/twopieces.mp3 I drove by a cross sitting in the field along the road and thought, Jay is not forgotten, he's not some lonely cross no one visits, there was much more to him and it's a tragic loss to me as I was one of his last friends. I loved him, but we'll meet again!

I loved Jay, too. We were so sorry to hear about what happened. Do you know how to get hold of his son? I have Jay's personal things. Not much, but stuff that should go to a family member. Very talented guitarist.
