Lovin’ Family
The big ‘ol house we wanted just never came to be.
Money always rolling in has somehow eluded me.
With the bills all stacked so high there’s no hope that I can see
Thank the Lord I’ve still got my lovin’ family
They understand when I’m only human,
They’d never think of judging me
If I ever get my head above whatever’s drowning me
I wouldn’t think twice to do something nice
For my family my lovin’ family
My big old truck done lost the will to live and carry me
My boss will never understand I need job security
And the IRS is about to take the rest of my dignity
